scheduled to launch in the late autumn. The new website will offer customers a modern platform to view the stock range held by the business and will enable customers to enquire about products and tool services/tool hire online. The software and backend system of the website offers the business the option to develop further digital initiatives for the future as appropriate. “Our appointed marketing professional will work to develop our customer
communication strategy using our customer relationship management software. The software will enable the business to create marketing campaigns and segment our customer database effectively to ensure customer communications are increasingly effective and targeted,” explains Steve.

Altiplas completes Indian government aerospace contract
After receiving a six figure contract from the government of India’s Department of Space Division back in April 2013, Altiplas has announced the completion of the contract.

(Ti-6Al-4V) material from its own in-house metals department to the manufacture of the various parts; sampling processes; ISIRs; non-destructive and destructive testing; microstructure analysis; and specialist IVD coating.” Being AS9120 approved Altiplas has controlled, monitored, and checked all
processes to ensure compliance with the contract. Within this period Altiplas has also now become the preferred supplier of titanium fasteners to one of the leading satellite manufacturers in Europe and is looking to expand its portfolio and expertise in this field.

passing the EN 9100 audit. With this certification the company is allowed to directly supply fasteners into the aviation and aerospace industry on a global level. It is also able to source products from internal EN 9100 audited plants. The first steps towards achieving the
challenge of stepping into the aviation industry were taken in March 2013. The aviation industry is very different, explains Nedschroef, from the automotive industry, with which it has long been familiar, because of its special material performance sheets, technical process parameters and surface procedures. Nedshroef sees this achievement as an
