New program for selection of

fasteners for flange connections Specialists of the plant for pipeline components REKOM started to test the operation of a web application for the selection of fasteners for pipeline flanges.

urrently the selection of fasteners for flange connections, produced according to the Russian standards, is not unified in any standards or approved methodological regulations. Assemblies of mating flanges, including fasteners and seal components, are high demand products in the market. However, in the absence of any approved regulations or standards, each producer is free to decide their composition at their own discretion. Meantime, the selection of fastening elements is carried out by specialists of enterprises operating pipeline systems,

and by producers and suppliers of flanges and pipeline fittings. This work requires definite experience and time resource. Recognising these problems the specialists at REKOM have developed a program for fastener selection – with the web application downloadable from REKOM’s website: www.zavod-rekom.ru
