Fastener Fair returning to Eurasia
Following a successful launch event in November 2013, Fastener Fair Turkey, an exhibition for fastener and fixing technology, will be returning to the same venue, the IFM – Istanbul Expo Centre from November 2014. After the 2014 event,
20th – 21st Fastener Fair Turkey will adopt a two year cycle. F
astener Fair Turkey showcases a comprehensive range of industrial fasteners, construction fixings, assembly and installation systems, as well as manufacturing technology. Contributing to the success of Fastener Fair
Turkey is the dynamic environment in which the show takes place. Continued advances in Turkey’s automotive and white goods manufacturing sectors, together with vibrant construction and infrastructure sectors is driving domestic demand for fasteners and fixings. Furthermore, the country has demonstrated solid economic growth over the last decade and is forecast to achieve real GDP growth between 3% and 5% over the next three years.
Good balance between Turkish and international exhibitors The exhibition has a good balance between Turkish and foreign
exhibiting companies. Of the 120 exhibitors confirmed at Fastener Fair Turkey 2014, half are foreign companies representing ten countries. “We are delighted with the international response to the second Fastener Fair Turkey,” says Olivia Griscelli, exhibition

director on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Fuarcılık. “Leading fastener suppliers and manufacturing technology specialists from Germany, Italy and France will be joined by exhibitors from Croatia as well as Taiwan and China. This level of international participation demonstrates clearly both the geographic and economic significance of Turkey.” The other half of exhibitors is composed of Turkish fastener
manufacturers and suppliers, including the country’s largest manufacturers and many members of the BESIAD fastener suppliers’ association. Olivia Griscelli comments: “This makes Fastener Fair Turkey an excellent opportunity for purchasers and management from the Turkish fastener industry and its markets to meet and network, as well as providing a highly accessible event for fastener buyers from across Europe and the Middle East.” Companies interested in exhibiting at Fastener Fair Turkey 2014 should get in touch with the organisers’ team as soon as possible to secure stand space.
