ew World Wellness Center invites you to experience the healing power of Reiki, a Japanese relaxation
practice which increases feelings of peacefulness, balance and connected wholeness. Reiki is gentle and effective for children, adults, seniors and even animals and can promote healing in many ways. Some possible benefi ts include: relaxation, improved sleep and mental clarity, reduced blood pressure, relief from pain and discomfort of injuries, arthritis and easing of depression and bereavement. Reiki also promotes creativity and broadens perspectives. New World Wellness will be hosting a Reiki 1 class on Sunday, May 4 instructed by Reiki Master Teacher Georgiana Johnson, LMT & Qigong Instructor. 9 CEUs will be awarded for this class for LMTs and healthcare providers. Georgiana is a certifi ed teacher in Usui / Tibetan Reiki, as well as Usui Reiki, and has been a practitioner since 1993. She’s a very active energy medicine teacher and has completed two Reiki Master classes. She teaches Animal Reiki, facilitates Reiki Drum and Chant, provides volunteer Animal Reiki at Freedom Ride—and gives free Reiki sessions to humans to introduce them to the wonderful effects and benefi ts. Georgiana also teaches Qigong and is a popular mind/body speaker and presenter at corporations, universities, community events and high schools.
