If you want to pursue a sand volleyball scholarship, it’s impor- tant to understand the fi nancial situation of the sport. Sand scholar- ships don’t work like women’s indoor scholarships. Sand volleyball is an equivalency sport, which means a program has a set number of scholarships each season to be divided among players as they see fi t. In 2015, the number will increase to six.
