Founder and CEO of disposable towel pioneer Easydry, Anne Butterly, is to be named one of the top nine Green Leaders at the Green Awards in Ireland, for her contribution to protecting the environment.

The company has also made the shortlist in the Green Technology and Small Organisation categories.

The Green Leader Award celebrates the individual who has made the most significant contribution to tackling climate change and helped encourage others to do the same. Anne (pictured) has dedicated the past decade, since inventing the first ever disposable, eco-friendly salon towel, to helping salons across the globe cut their water use. In the process she has massively reduced the industry’s carbon footprint, enabling salons worldwide to save millions of litres of water.

The Green Award finals are being held in Dublin at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on 10th April.
