Rewind Racers A new Adventure in Anaheim

Adventure City, Anaheim,

California, has begun the

construction of its newest rollercoaster, Rewind Racers. Expected to open this summer at a cost of over $2 million (€1.4m), the ride will be Adventure City¹s largest single investment in its 20-year history.

Supplied by Gerstlauer, the attraction will be the first family shuttle coaster in North America.

The ride will move both forward and backwards and will accommodate riders starting at a mere 1m (39 inch) in height. “For many of our visitors, an Adventure City coaster is their first rollercoaster ride,” notes the park’s president, Allan Ansdell. “We are so excited that this summer, Rewind Racers will become many children’s first coaster ride – in

reverse!” Family owned and operated, Adventure City opened its gates in 1994 just a stone’s throw from Disneyland and markets itself as, “Southern California’s Little Theme Park That’s Big on Family Fun.”
