The Minister of State for Transport Baroness Kramer will formally open Infrarail 2014 on Tuesday 20 May at 10:30 am. The ceremony will take place in the Knowledge Hub in the main exhibition hall.
The Track
Leading track products manufacturer Tata Steel is the sponsor of The Track, which comprises sections of track provided by the company and laid in the exhibition hall. This popular Infrarail feature acts as a showcase for exhibitors to display and demonstrate tools and equipment in a truly authentic rail setting. Companies present will include BCM GRC and Rosehill Rail.
The Yard
Supported by the Rail Plant Association, The Yard is a display area in the exhibition hall for larger vehicles and items of plant used for rail construction and maintenance.
The Rail Alliance Hub
Members of the Rail Alliance suppliers networking association will be promoting their products and services in a dedicated area at the centre of the exhibition hall. Members taking part include: A Jansen, Anderton Concrete Products, Axis Communications, Bernstein, Burdens Rail, dBD Communications & Management Consultancy, FP McCann, FT Transformers Ltd, GGR Group, HL Plastics, KOREC Group, Oring Industrial Networking (UK), Premier Pits, UniLite and York EMC Services, plus the Rail Alliance.
The Recruitment Wall

www.railwaypeople.com, part of the Rail Media group, this will form a display publicising details of exhibitors’ job opportunities, aiming to match those with the skills of visitor seeking career development. Located on a stand in the main hall at Earls Court, the Recruitment Wall will be available throughout the exhibition.
Networking Reception
This popular Infrarail feature provides a welcome opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to get together over drinks and canapés. Accompanied by live music, the reception takes place in the Networking Zone from 4:45 to 6:30 pm on the opening day of the show, 20 May.
The 3rd Infrarail Awards
The third Infrarail Awards dinner will take place on 21 May at The Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, a short distance from the exhibition hall. This informal event will acknowledge and reward notable achievements and innovations by companies taking part in Infrarail during an evening of excellent food and entertainment.
