A short fi ve minute walk away from the hotel is the beach, where a selection of restaurants and the all-important beach clubs can be found, with luxury four poster beds and chill out music. With so much to see we were keen to take this time to see what the Jardines de Nivaria had to off er. T e hotel stands majestically at the start of Costa Adeje, off ering all the amenities you would expect at this level of resort.Walking into the reception it’s quite a breathtaking surprise. At fi rst a grand ship’s atrium springs to mind. T is triumph of a ceiling, with its stained glass dome, is one of the largest glass structures in Europe. Designed with the star constellation and elaborate fi gures in beautiful coloured glass, as the sun hits the separate panes of glass it streams a rainbow of colour everywhere. he fi ve-star Jardines de Nivaria Adrian Hotel is situated in Costa Adeje on the same road as the Plaza Del Duque shopping complex, which

Nivaria has in store for our stay. We were shown to a double garden view room.

T e room had been newly refurbished, off ering shower, separate bath, double sinks and fl uff y robes and slippers. beautiful landscape. All rooms have sun loungers so you can sunbathe in private and take in the panoramic views. T erefore, I would recommend requesting a suite on the upper level as this re- ally does take full advantage. T e hotel features two pools, one heated salt water and the other a fresh water pool with fea- ture waterfalls. Around the resort there are sub- tropical gardens, as you walk through the shrubs and plantation with waterfalls and wooden bridges it’s hard to believe the beach is just a few minutes away. Jardines de Nivaria also boasts a pool side grill and a private sun deck with poolside waiter ser- vice. You really don’t have to move far once you have chosen your beds. With a fl ick of a button, attached to your umbrella, it lets the bar staff know you would like service. Our evening plans consisted of a jaunt to La Cúpula, the signature fi ne dining restaurant. We were greeted in the atrium by the maître d’ for the evening, Tony, who knew absolutely every- thing about the restaurant and the menu. We requested outside seating with a table in a small secluded area. T e menu was particularly specialised and of-

fered a mixture of creative dishes that showed real imagination. For our appetizers we opted
