Charlie said: “Monaco is a key centre for the yachting industry, not only because of its Riviera location but also as it is home to the largest annual show, the Monaco Yacht Show, which takes place in the marina just outside our office.” With the business thriving, Charlie wants to maintain future growth. “We have had a good year,” he said. “Charter is better overall with clients choosing more exotic and off the beaten track destinations as well as increased interest in the Caribbean and the Far East this winter. Charlie began his career in yachting at the age of 16, working as a sail maker and boat builder. He went on to race sailboats professionally in the UK and the USA before working as crew on super yachts, where he first met business partner Gary. Charlie and Gary have worked together since meeting in 1997, including a spell as project managers on the build of the groundbreaking 92 metre Tatoosh yacht. On land, Charlie’s yachting experience has been equally extensive, from sales, management and project management to logistics and fleet management. The father-of-two said: “Every day is
