premises and limiting identifi ca- tion requirements to adult animals moving interstate. TAHC also proposed at its Sept.


10, 2013, meeting that all adult breeding cattle in Texas have offi - cial identifi cation at change of own- ership. The identifi cation would be required within 7 days of transfer of ownership, although cattle moved to a state- or federally-approved slaughter establishment would be exempt if they’re harvested within 3 days.
