Raises Record Breaking Funds


On November 2, William Jessup University hosted the Jessup Gala to raise funds specifically allocated for student scholarships. Tis year, the event raised nearly $140,000.


“Te Gala is the perfect venue to showcase the countless ways that Jessup’s students are impacting our world,” said Eric Hogue, Jessup’s Chief Development Officer. “We continue to be humbled and offer heartfelt thanks to our many donors and constituents who value our mission to deliver quality Christ-centered liberal arts higher education programs.”


Celebrating the Fusion of Faith and Art, the evening featured students enrolled in the university’s new Creative Arts program performing selected vignettes for over 400 attendees. In addition, the university’s Masterworks Chorale performance group and the University Choir performed.


Te event also featured entertainment from


internationally known artist, Joe Castillo of America’s Got Talent as he shared his epic stories of live art through the medium of sand.


Te festivities also honored Mikuni Owner and Master Chef, Taro Arai with the 2013 Impact Award recognizing his entrepreneurial and philanthropic efforts in the Sacramento region and beyond.
