The tradition of handing our graduates a
towel was implemented by former President, Dr. Bryce Jessup. The tradition began to
remind graduates they are not only receiving a diploma that recognizes their academic
achievements and quest to attain knowledge in their field of study, but to be reminded of their commitment to serve.
