Focus on innovative products to stay ahead

Fibox explains why being first to market with innovative and

high-quality products is vital if companies are to develop a reputation as market leaders; and gets ready to introduce the new ARCA range

Delivering a solution that is unique to each customer is becoming more important than delivering a standard solution, with virtually perfect quality.

Therefore, just as leading OEM electronics companies are constantly innovating to drive customer loyalty, component manufacturers need to develop. Innovation has moved beyond products and services and now regularly encom- passes business models, operating systems and customer experience. Additionally, collaboration with both internal and external partners has become vital to innovation efforts. Fibox is such a company whose customer-centric approach provides total solutions to meet important infrastructure requirements. That’s one reason why it has a growing customer list spanning an array of industries. To many of our customers, Fibox has become a technology

partner, and its proven track record defines its success, com- bined with proven industry technologies and certifications. Fibox also understands that being first to market with innovative and high-quality products is vital if client com- panies are to develop a reputation as market leaders – because when a company is recognized as a market leader, it helps increase the effectiveness of its marketing and increases the return on investment. That’s why Fibox, throughout its history, has followed a policy of consolidating resources, strengthening and streamlining management and deploying proven technolo- gies and techniques to help its partners gain sustainable and distinct advantages, across many industries, both competitively and profitably.

Meeting customer demands

As each OEM project is different, Fibox offers a personal and tailor-made service which is geared to meet customer’s specification, time-to-market schedule and budget. Now with over 20 years of experience as a standalone UK enclosure company and with well over 2000 products to its name, Fibox is a true expert that brings consistency, quality and proven expertise to its OEM customer’s projects – because it understands time-to-market pressures and the importance of cost control. With few exceptions, the huge range of Fibox enclosures is flexible enough to support all its OEM clients needs; whether they choose to base their solution on an existing product design, ask for a product tailored to specific particular requirements, or commission a fully customised enclosure solution from the drawing board, through prototype, to the finished product. Such services are core to the Fibox business model, which has withstood not only the test of time but also dramatic economic fluctuations and new competitive challenges.

n today’s interdependent and competitive global economy, one must find true competitive advantages based on features and capability, rather than relying purely on quality alone.

developing optimised solutions to suit production schedules and budgets, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering quality, reliability, flexibility and the ability to change the product to suit customer needs.

In addition, it continuously develops and refines its offerings to ensure the right products and services to meet increasingly specialised customer needs, including the development of incredibly tough and robust enclosure products for use in harsh and demanding environments.

A new product for the panel building sector As many who have been following our recent ‘teaser ad campaign’ will know, Fibox is on schedule to introduce a significant new product to the panel building sector of the Electrical Market.

Once launched, the ARCA high grade polycarbonate range will offer panel builders a totally non-corrosive alternative to manufacturers who are developing products that must offer long-lifetime operation in extremely unforgiving and severe environments.

Designed to address a key unmet need in the Panel Building sector and boasting many innovative features, the ARCA’s product performance has now been fully evaluated. The new production processes have been qualified and validated and all the regulatory approvals and certifications have been obtained. Simultaneously, the ARCA range of enclosures receptivity has been evaluated by key customer feedback and sales and distribution channels have been identified. In fact all is progressing as planned to introduce the complete ARCA range to the market on schedule. UK Managing Director, Steve Gallon said: “This is a very exciting time for the company and, although I am very pleased with the progress we have made in recent years, with the introduction of the ARCA range I believe we have a tremendous set of growth opportunities and honestly feel this is one of the most exciting times in the company’s history.” Fibox’s mission is to be one of the world’s leading companies in the development of innovative enclosure products; many of which are now either custom-built or fully custom-designed to meet the needs of today’s and future OEM designers and engineers. To reach this goal, the strategy is simple: deliver quality and value to customers. The company endeavours to achieve this by not only listening to customers, but also distribution partners too. Understanding their problems and challenges, and focusing innovative think- ing and experience on solving their needs, is what gives Fibox a sustainable competitive advantage, making it the sup- plier of choice for many inter- nationally recognised OEM’s.
