MEMBERSHIP SURVEY COMING SOON
Triathlon participation in the United States is at an all-time high following unprecedented growth over the past decade-plus. USA Triathlon can easily track the surge through its membership numbers, which reached 550,446 members (annual and one-day) in 2012.

This November, an email will hit the inbox of every USA Triathlon annual member. The email will contain a link to USA Triathlon’s Membership Demographic Survey. The comprehensive survey will help gain an updated understanding of USA Triathlon members’ attitudes, opinions, experiences, and needs.

It has been more than three years since the last membership demographic survey and report. The goal of this updated report will be to enhance the programs, services, and benefits USA Triathlon offers to its multisport members who compete in one or more of the six disciplines: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquathlon, Off-Road, Aquabike, and Winter Triathlon.

The survey will take an average of 15 minutes to complete. In order to compensate athletes for their time, USA Triathlon will be giving away prizes. The grand prize will be a trip to the 2014 International Triathlon Union World Triathlon Chicago which includes airfare, a two-night stay in the host hotel and free race entry. Additionally, every week more prizes will be given away, including Compex units, Garmin watches, TYR wetsuits and transition bags, Rudy Project sunglasses, USA Triathlon apparel, and much more multisport gear from USA Triathlon partners. USA Triathlon will make the survey results available to the public, so stay tuned to www.usatriathlon.org for updates.
