The Travel Tech Show at WTM has been created following the rapid growth of the travel technology sector at WTM, which has shown an increase of 40% and 30% respectively over the past two years. The event will sit alongside WTM for the full four days (Monday 4 – Thursday 7 November).

Nate Bucholz, Head of Travel Industry, is based in Google’s London office, and has particular responsibility for airline and car rental sectors. In his role, he aims to help some of Google’s largest advertisers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to identify the latest trends in consumer behaviour and technology, and develop marketing strategies accordingly. Bucholz will be taking part in the Search Engine Update seminar on 5 November, 11.00 to 12.00, in the WTM Knowledge Theatre GV750.

The Search Engine Update session is one of five seminars for The Travel Tech Show which are being organised by Paul Richer, Founding Partner at travel technology consultancy Genesys. Other sessions in the seminar programme will look at how to profit from the growth of mobile channels; content marketing; social media; and the latest trends in travel technology. Richer will be taking part in the Travel Technology Trends seminar on 5 November, 17.00 to 18.00, in the WTM Knowledge Theatre GV750.

Google’s Head of Travel, Dan Robb, was recently interviewed by Decision Makers TV (www.decisionmakers.tv)


Technology Initiative (TTI). This will see top-flight speakers giving their take on the latest developments in travel that will have an impact on delegates’ businesses. It will take place on 4 November, 14.30 to 17.00, in the WTM Knowledge Theatre.
