Fifteen Gentoo penguins, sourced from Sea Life Konstanz in Germany and Legoland Billund, feature inside a tank filled with 170,000 litres of water. Passengers catch a glimpse of the creatures through glass as

they pass by the enclosure on the

Pinguine! Abenteuer Antarktis flume ride. This 250m-long attraction by ABC Rides features an attractive North Pole theme. The highlight of the experience is a 14-metre drop. Sea Life Abentueur Park also features a handful of outdoor attractions inherited from CentrO Park including the Jeep Safari car ride, Shanghai Express train ride, adventure playground, slide tower, trampolines. maze, a Gold Wash game and two food & beverage outlets. Much of the site has been left empty, although a Merlin spokesperson stresses the project is still at a very early stage for the company. For now, it provides a relatively quite place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby mall. Located within easy reach of millions of potential guests in central Germany and also neighbouring Netherlands/Belgium, however, we mustn’t underestimate its potential to the ever ambitious operator.
