New Craft Fair at the Barony Centre West Kilbride Raising funds for a worthwhile cause…

aturday 21st September 2013 sees the launch of By My Own Fair Hand, an exciting art and craft initiative, which has been formed with a view to showcasing some of the best designers and makers working within the West Coast of Scotland. Graphic designer and creator of the event, Helen Braid, describes the fair - based in the beautiful Barony Centre in the heart of Craft Town Scotland, West Kilbride - as an opportunity to create an exciting and vibrant event, where design and quality are key. “We have an abundance of
talented artists and makers working locally, who presently lack the network or means to collectively
promote
their work - our launch fair is the
perfect way to introduce some
of the unique and excellent produce handmade on our very doorstep.
Working in conjunction with the Barony Centre and Craft Town Scotland, gives us the perfect venue and platform to create an extra special event.”
By My Own Fair Hand launches at the Barony
Centre on Saturday 21st September from 11am–4pm and entry is free. A percentage of proceeds raised by the organisation of the fair will be donated to the The Lullaby Trust, who provide specialist support for bereaved families and anyone affected by a sudden infant death.
