That’s not necessarily the case with the Extreme Sailing Series, where actually everyone depends on their sponsor at the end of the season saying 'yeah, that was fantastic and we got great value and we want to go back'. That’s a mix of sport and entertainment, not just the sporting side. The teams have a different mindset, they understand the decisions we have to to make. It's just never going to be the case at the Cup which is unfortunately why you always end back with the lawyers and the rules and everything else - which isn’t the right forum for moving forward - but it is the nature of that particular beast and I don't think that is ever going to change. SRM: Could you ever be tempted into taking on the management of the America's Cup? Mark Turner: Well it was a discussion we had - I think many people seem to know - in 2010 when I was making decisions about direction and where I lived, it was an option to end up inside that team. I don’t regret not taking that up at that time, more for the positive reasons that I’m very happy with where I ended up and where I live. While I don’t have regrets, I do wonder how I would have fared, if I would have lasted very long in that environment or not. It might come up again and I would look at it again.
