Robotic Gripper The 2-Finger Adaptive Robot Grip- per–200 is a new flexible, fully pro- grammable electric gripper designed for handling various parts to reduce changeover costs. Its high grip force, rugged design and sealed casing make it appropriate for any indus- trial environment. The gripper was designed with feedback from automa- tion engineers challenged with the processing of large irregular parts and high changeover rates in industries including automotive part manufac- turing, foundry, metal fabrication and heavy machinery shops. This servo gripper can be installed on any in- dustrial robot to provide unparalleled versatility. System features a 200-mm programmable stroke to pick various part sizes, and three distinct gripping modes (parallel, encompassing and internal) enabling the handling of different part geometries. The system also offers grip detection, real-time finger position feedback and control of finger speed and force. It is com- patible with all major robot manufac- turers and communicates with robot controllers over Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, and Modbus RTU. Robotiq
