OPC Server

New OPC server is designed specifically for getting machine production data out of a FANUC CNC and off the shop floor. FASOPC server is designed exclusively for communicat- ing with FOCAS- enabled FA- NUC CNCs to efficiently read and write data. The con- figuration utility’s user interface uses

wizards specific to these CNCs to guide you through the processes of setting up all of your controls. Once a control type is identified, then only data relevant to that control type is presented to the user. There is no need for additional knowl- edge of FANUC CNC capabilities to use FASOPC. range of production needs for nanoscale to large-sized parts. The machine tool can accommodate large workpieces up to 350 mm in diameter and 220-mm high, yet the Micro takes up little space on the shop floor. The system offers precise machining with accuracy down to ±0.5 microns, with achiev- able part accuracy down to ±2 microns. The VMC deliv- ers high repeatability for reliable and productive operation. Besides a small footprint, the Micro offers all the high-end capabilities expected from Kern, including a tool cabinet with quick-change pallet for more than 200 tools. The system also includes a workpiece palletizing system that employs a System 3R Macro Magnum or Erowa Power automatic chuck as a pallet receiver. Other key features include an automatic laser tool measuring system, a workpiece probing system, and an advanced temperature control system for maintaining and ensuring the highest possible accuracies.
