Celia Sawyer is a glamorous mother of two and self-made millionairess of many glittering facets. As a TV newcomer with natural flair, Celia made her mark purring prices like a pussycat, while showing a killer instinct when it came to claiming objets d’art from members of the public. Now she is back with a bang in a refreshed format featuring a revolving cycle of 12 dealers - with even more nail-biting tension all-round. Celia likens the experience to having a baby: “Painful at the time then you forget and want to do it all over again.” Despite her fierce reputation and


stratospheric career, Celia is warm and down


to earth in person. For all her apparent self- confidence, she admits that appearing on TV: “Scared the life out of me. Luckily, you couldn’t see my heart bumping under my cat-suit!” She is referring to her signature sexy look on camera. Like her cool ability to close most deals, she clearly knows how to make image impact, wearing a blue Gucci neoprene catsuit and spike heels to her first TV audition. Consequently her show wardrobe favours figure-skimming leathers, stilettos and Alexander McQueen ‘knuckleduster’ ring.
