Travel

team at the Four Seasons Hotel Milano that truly make it a stay to remember. Lining up slippers next to your bed during

turndown service, spoiling you with welcoming sweet treats or helping you navigate the city, the perennially friendly and helpful team is nothing short of remarkable here. Tis is perhaps no more obvious than in La Veranda, the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant which is

open 7am-11pm. Here, armed with a menu by executive chef Sergio Mei and a uniform as crisp as the tablecloths, they are on hand to make informed recommendations (the beef tartare trio and Milanese veal cutlet really are as excellent as they say it is) and every experience a special one. Even breakfast! If that wasn’t enough, while I would happily

move in beneath the hotel’s dessert trolley already, the hotel is about to get even better in August 2013 too. Following extensive refurbishment, the spa, housed in the basement under original vaulted ceilings, will reopen, in addition to 25 newly designed rooms. We really can’t wait. Make mine a caviar facial!

Prices start from €600 per room per night. For reservations and enquiries, please contact Four Seasons Hotel Milano, Via Gesù, 6/8, 20121 Milan, Italy, +39 02 77088, www.fourseasons.com/milan
