In cooperation with the international players union FIFPro, University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) offers a degree in Sport Management through online education. The programme is an opportunity to combine

the passion for sports and events with an understanding of the business mechanisms that lies behind. FIFPro Online Academy is 100% online, making it extremely accessible and flexible. No attendance is required, and you decide when and where during the day you want to study and take the lectures. Exams can be done online as well, and the final product (the degree and competences) will be equal to studying ordinarily. The programme is structured in a way that makes it possible for elite athletes to complete it within the 3½ years, but if necessary you can also get an individual study plan, extending the programme and stretching the courses over a longer period of time.

This session will assist with the basic skills and knowledge to help kick-start your business. The 45 minute session will take you through the main ‘hot topics’ that may be crucial in making a difference to your idea such as how to set up, funding your start-up business and marketing.
