of freight passes through St. Louis it will go over TRRA rails. Terminal Railroad dispatchers work out of the Murray build- ing at Madison Yard. Two dispatchers are on duty around the clock to cover all movements over the TRRA network. Operations are conducted seven days a week with weekends tending to be lighter traffic days. With the exception of large customers United States Steel and two bulk service rail-to-river up- loading facilities most industry switch- ing is done on Monday through Friday operations. The TRRA, as mentioned above, is dispatched by two different dispatcher desks. The West Belt dis- patcher tends to control most all track- age on the Missouri side of the river plus most of the “southernly” portion of the Illinois side.
