Change Your Environment, Change You! by Viyahta Robinson “

Lipton, PHD. The idea for this title, of course, came from the campaign slogan used by Bill Clinton’s team in the 1992 presidential election. Dr. Lipton is recognized internationally as an authority on “bridging science and spirit” as well as being a leading voice in Epigenetics, a science of Self-Empowerment. As he states in the last paragraph of that chapter, “DNA does not control biology…. cells are shaped by where they live.” Dr. Lipton’s work over the last 50 years has changed the way we look at biology, dis-ease and emotions. My own journey with dis-ease was greatly infl uenced by his books and his wonderful sense of humor. Another tool that plays a major role in my continuing journey to enlightenment is Yoga.

I

t’s the Environment, Stupid” is the title of a chapter in Biology of Belief by Bruce

Several years ago I purchased the

book Creative Work-Karma Yoga by Edmond Szekely. I expected it to focus on meditation and Yoga poses. To my surprise, the introduction summarized the ancient meaning of Yoga and the other 59 pages developed the ancient meaning of “work.” Similar to Szekely’s translated works of the Essene Gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls, I found this book to be yet another beautiful lesson in higher consciousness.

According to Szekely, the true meaning of Yoga is “the establishment of union with all the forces of the outer and inner cosmos.” This union through creative work implies that our present thoughts, words and actions determine our future. By being conscious of this union, we are practicing Karma Yoga and creating a healthy inner and outer environment. Over the last eight years, I have been

developing this principle in working as a house cleaner. Each day presents a challenge to keep a positive attitude of love and compassion, even when facing stained toilets and low energy in a cluttered environment. As I have come to fully sense divine energy and strength as well as that peace that surpasses understanding, my work has become not a “me” but rather a “we.” More often than not I move through houses with a pure energy of love, compassion and purpose. In my work as a health coach and herbalist, the knowledge of German New Medicine (GNM) has been the union with the cosmos that removes the fear of dis-ease and shows forth divine purpose. This knowledge helps us understand the orderly biological system operating when we experience traumas or emotional confl icts in our life. Just as the cosmos displays perfect order, there is exact order in the process of dis-ease development and mind/body functioning. Molecules of Emotion-Why You Feel The Way You Feel, by Candace Pert, PH.D., gives us scientifi c proof that the term “energy-in-motion” is an accurate description of what is taking place on a spiritual level when we express hate versus love. The life and work of Dr. Ryke

Hamer, the founder of German New Medicine, demonstrates the often slow pace that stages of truth move, as expressed by German Philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. First, it’s ridiculed; second, it’s violently opposed; and third, it’s accepted as self-evident. Even though Dr. Hamer has spent thousands of hours talking to his patients, studied over
