A Third Opinion: New Radio Show D
r. Catherine Zelner of the Zelner Institute of Integrative Medicine has committed to supporting “A Third Opinion” radio show. She is passionate about Integrative Medicine and has taken the lead in utilizing the power of radio to both educate the local community and promote her practice. (Dr. Zelner is on live twice monthly) “A Third Opinion” will offer a long- needed forum for open discussion of complimentary treatment options, many of which are proven effective but are sometimes held in disregard by many regulatory bodies. The program will benefi t those searching for information about “out of the traditional box” treatment options that may be available for a variety of health concerns. For the fi rst time—and in full earshot of the general public—medical practitioners, patients and the general citizenry will join the conversation. Many will discover that traditional medicine is not the only available option as the complimentary/functional medicine model is in increasing demand.
Meant to be educational but not in the sense of a science lecture, the format is at the same time entertaining. It challenges the status quo with lively dialogue directed by Host Paul Rodgers (50 years in radio) and Bob Weldon C.N.C (20 yrs. integrative nutrition), currently Director of Nutrition for the Zelner Institute of Integrative Medicine. Of prime importance is to showcase local medical as well as nationally-recognized experts on chosen topics. While not an infomercial, per se, the program will highlight and direct listeners to those who offer complimentary/functional treatment protocols in Central Florida. “A Third Opinion” airs each Saturday at 10:00 am on
