NEWNAN-COWETA
The Newnan-Coweta Board’s Golf Tournament took place on Monday, October 22, 2012, at SummerGrove Golf Course. The money raised will help support our NCBOR Coweta County High School Scholarship Program. The tournament doubled in size from last year, with more than 85 golfers playing and several holes were sponsored by local businesses. Many door prizes and raffles were awarded, including a raffle for a trip to St. Simon’s Island and a $220 Cash 50/50 Drawing. A new 2013 Toyota Camry, sponsored by Toyota of Newnan, sat on Hole 7 for the Hole in One Prize. Unfortunately, no one won the Camry. Lynn A. Westmoreland’s team placed first, Newnan Utilites placed second, and Starkey Mortgage finished third. Good times were had by all!
