General programme Medical sector


• Surgical block. • Maternity and neonatology, with 36 stations (incubators).


• Diagnostics and Treatment (X-rays, CAT-scans, laboratory). • Emergency rooms.


• Outpatients’ services. • Patients’ rooms: • Four, 40-bed blocks: maternity and paediatrics, minimum and intermediate care, capability of having four isolated patients.


• Intensive care, 24 beds: 12 for adults, six for coronary diseases, and six for paediatrics.


• One half unit, 12 beds. General public sector


Corridors, waiting rooms, classrooms, library, auditorium, chapel, director’s office, cafeteria, public restrooms, admissions and access to the Research Center.


Pharmacy, sterilisation, engine room, staff lockers, laundry, kitchen, waste management area, maintenance and general warehouse.


General support sector


• Offices, administration, staff cafeteria, doctors’ resting rooms.


• Car parking spaces and park.


Research Center • Admitting and circulation patterns, public areas and restricted areas are clearly demarcated.


• Laboratories: Eight units with their appropriate support areas (cold chamber, input reception office, cleaning and sterilisation, service areas). • Library and meeting room.
