Laying Down the Foundation – Basic Bench Work The S scale (1:64) version of the Dover Branch measures
9 feet by 5 feet. At one time sheets measuring 9x5 feet were available from most lumber yards for use in con- structing home ping-pong tables. Sadly, this size is no longer readily available, so our design uses three 3x5 foot tables with half-inch plywood tops framed with one-inch dimensional lumber.
