MHA Lighting

Award-winning lighting specialist MHA Lighting enjoyed a fruitful two days at LuxLive, with the launch of its new innovative PLite luminaire solution and its participation in a LuxLive panel on whether LEDs were ready for offices. MHA’s Managing Director, Tom Harrison said: “To have showcased our innovative lighting technology to the calibre of delegates during LuxLive, whilst playing a key role in a discussion on whether LEDs were ready for offices, fills me with confidence that people are increasingly switching on to the fact LED lighting is being used in exceptional ways to dramatically improve any lit environment, whilst reducing energy consumption and CO2.” www.mhalighting.co.uk

Megaman Review

This year’s LuxLive built on the excellent foundations that were laid at the teams’ first exhibition last year. Having had an excellent show ourselves, we thought we’d ask other exhibitors what they thought of their LuxLive experience!

Isotera

Isotera was pleased to announce the launch of its revolutionary system for the installation of LED lighting at the show. The Isotera system was on show at their stand, where visitors were able to gain first-hand experience of its amazing flexibility. This unique patented system is based upon the concept of contactless power, allowing contractors to install LED lighting systems in a fraction of the time and at a significantly reduced cost when compared to traditional installation techniques. Visitors were very impressed by the system, and the team was delighted with the response they received for this launch. www.isotera.com

“It was great to see such passion and enthusiasm for lighting at the show, which was certainly busier than last year. In particular this year there seemed to be a real interest in LED light sources and modules. hue was also a big draw to the Philips stand but our professional portfolio of lighting solutions also received plenty of attention and we have a few strong leads to follow up,” comments Paul Harwood, Marketing Communications Manager at Philips. www.lighting.philips.co.uk

Megaman had an incredible time on their stand at this year’s LuxLive with its medieval theme, which included knights in armour, crown jewels and a Queen Elizabeth II lookalike. A wide range of LED products that were recently launched by Megaman made their exhibition debut and included dimming candles and dimming classic lamps, plus G4, GU9 and AR111 lamps. An addition to the reflector range was the versatile 6W dimming GU10, which provides a 35° beam angle and offers 50,000 hours life, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including showrooms, reception areas, hotels, restaurants and lounges. www.megamanuk.com
