Collars and Coats Ball


8th November, Battersea Evolution, London Battersea Dogs and Cats Home’s annual fundraising event returns on the 8th November for a star-studded celebration of their work in the field of animal welfare. Te ball will be hosted by TV personalities Amanda Holden and Paul O’Grady MBE and will be attended by celebrities such as Joanna Page, Nicky Clarke and Danielle and Gary Lineker. Te glamorous event will open with a welcome by the Home’s legendary Guard of Honour, formed by a parade of blue-coated Battersea dogs and their handlers. Guests will be treated to a champagne reception and gourmet banquet as well as a fantastic line-up of top billing entertainment. The 22nd Bath Film Festival


14th – 25th November Film fans around the country will be heading to Bath this November to sample the cinematographic offerings of this fantastic festival. With a deluge of documentaries, previews and sci-fi films visitor won’t be short of choice and is even a selection of films about fashion, architecture and design by the Bath School of Art and Design so there really is something here for everyone. Recommended films to watch include Quartet, Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut, and Seven Psychopaths, a film about a struggling screenwriter inadvertently sucked into the criminal underworld after his friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu! Manchester Christmas Markets


17th November – 23rd December Winter in Manchester is not complete without a stroll through the chalet lined streets of the Christmas markets, taking over eight different spaces around the city. 14th – 15th November, Kensington Town Hall, London An active and distinguished women’s charity with nearly 400 community volunteers, the Junior League of London is dedicated to eradicating poverty and its effects in the London community. Its 33rd annual Boutique de Noel opens with a Gala Shopping Evening where guests will be served cocktails and canapés as they browse for unique, high-quality gifts from a range of exhibitors.
