Waterfront discovers the crème de la crème of what’s hot in fashion, beauty and food at the Harvey Nichols Manchester for their Autumn/Winter 12 Fashion Show


A


s the nights draw darker, Harvey Nichols Manchester followed suit as their three floors of elegance and luxury, showcased the finest


selection of accessories, fashion, beauty and food. Te store took guests on a journey before


they enjoyed the catwalk, with each floor taking on the theme of the show; vines, wolves and trees were displayed throughout the store to resemble a dark forest, perfect for Autumn/ Winter. Te drinks reception took place on the accessories and beauty floors from 7pm where guests enjoyed complimentary drinks and activity from the beauty counters. Te pinnacle point of the evening was the catwalk show, hosted on the Womenswear. Privileged guests included Abbey Clancy, Jane Given, Lisa Carrick, Jessica Lawlor, Emily Jagielka and Dancing on Ice’s Daniel Whiston along with a selection of Harvey Nichols Manchester’s top customers who enjoyed the 15% fashion show discount post show.

floor, which was cleared to allow for the catwalk, an extravagant entrance and a great forest set up. Guests entered the show through 2 sets of large, vintage double doors where they


were met by a U shape catwalk, over 400 seats and a light display. To start the show, the lights were switched off to create excitement, before a light display and the music signalled the models to appear. Stood in the doorways on
