wife Suzue have injected the traditional British afternoon tea experience with subtle Japanese fl avours. Green tea, creamy wasabi, fl oral jasmine and tangy Yuzu have all been woven into the new Japanese inspired patisserie which has been paired with the fi nest aromatic fresh leaf teas. T e Halkin’s modern interpretation of the Japanese Tea ritual marks the latest in a series of initiatives between William and T e Halkin, Belgravia’s most stylish boutique hotel. T e menu will feature treats such as:
• Apricot Wasabi Entremet – layers of pistachio sponge, chocolate cremeaux, wasabi ganache and apricot compote
• Dark Chocolate Pyramid Mousse – Jasmine
his autumn, a taste of Japan will take centre stage at T e Halkin by COMO, London with the launch of its ‘Japanese Rituals’ Afternoon
crème brulee, caramelised mandarin and chocolate sponge
• Chestnut and Yuzu Almond Sweet Pastry Tart – Almond and chestnut sponge, Yuzu marmalade, chestnut mousse topped with Italian meringue
• Raspberry and green tea white chocolate casket – Raspberry mousse, green tea crème brulee and green tea sponge
