Orange Amplification founder and chief executive Cliff Cooper presented the Rock The House competition winners, ‘The Verdict’, with their prize of an Orange TH30C Twin Channel combo guitar amplifier at the recent final.
The Rock The House winners were given the opportunity to play on the Terrace of the Houses of Parliament. The competition is organised every year by Mike Weatherley MP, who actively supports and promotes the importance of intellectual property rights. A separate
competition for under 18s was also introduced this year for the first time. Power pop trio, The Verdict, are an up-and-coming band from Liverpool with a big guitar sound, powerful bass and pounding drums.
‘It was a great night, and I was delighted to be able to present this talented new band with their prize,’ said Cliff Cooper.
‘Mike Weatherley is doing a great job of raising awareness within the House of Commons about the importance of the live music industry and I’m so glad we could be a part of it.’
