QUESTION TIME

It’s still not too late to send a question for our MIRC speakers or panellists (nearly, but not quite). Questions from the audience are very much encouraged and retailers are invited to submit them in advance by emailing lisa.carter@intentmedia.co.uk. All dealers who submit a question will be put in the draw to win an Apple TV.

You can tweet a question to us too. But if all that technology is not your bag and you also don’t want to stand up in front of 300 people and ask a question, there will be question cards on the table that you can fill in, which will be taken to the speaker or panel chair.

DO

• Please arrive on time for start of the conference. The schedule is deliberately tight, so we like to kick off on time

• Feel free to ask questions and contribute to the panel sessions. You might win an Apple TV

• Try to take something informative away from the speakers and panel sessions and use it you help your business

• Make sure you check out some of the ‘Break Out’ sessions, as they can be extremely informative

• Remember to get your card stamped on each stand if you want to pick up your goody bag at the end

11:35 How To Put Your Store On The (Google) Map – John Straw, Linkdex

Founder and CEO of SEO business Linkdex, Straw was an early pioneer in digital, starting one of the first search marketing agencies in 1999. He set up Linkdex in 2008, with the firm attracting some £3m in venture funding from London and Silicon Valley.

His discussion at MIRC will educate dealers on how to take advantage of consumers using smartphones to search for local businesses. Notably, he’ll demonstrate how your store can beat the competition to the top slot in Google listings.

11:55

• Send us a Tweet while you’re at the show. Tell us what you think

• Keep that last bit clean

DON’T • Be late
