Thousands across the U.S. celebrate Olympic Day

Olympic Day was officially celebrated on June 23, but is celebrated across the globe between June 21 to July 1 to build the Olympic Games spirit. According to the United States Olympic Committee, more than 150,000 Americans will

celebrate Olympic Day in over 500 cities across the United States – nearly double the events held in the U.S. just last year. Olympic Day’s mission is to promote fitness, well- being, culture and education, while promoting the

Olympic ideals of fair play, perseverance, respect and sportsmanship. Over the last two decades, the event has helped to spread these ideals to every corner of the world.
