19 APRIL: MELBOURNE A man was restrained on a Qantas flight en route from Perth to Melbourne.
19 APRIL: SEATTLE A man was arrested when his Southwest Airlines flight from Albuquerque landed in Seattle for having allegedly exposed himself to two flight attendants on board.
23 APRIL: MANILA Francis Chua, an
honorary consul of Peru, was offloaded off a Cathay Pacific flight. The aircraft was taxiing to depart Manila for Hong Kong
when Chua refused to fasten his seatbelt. As the aircraft returned to the gate, Chua tried to enter the cockpit and had to be restrained.
26 APRIL: DES MOINES, IOWA A 33-year-old woman was removed from a United Express flight before its departure to Chicago. She had discovered her wallet was missing whilst the aircraft was taxiing and then refused to fly.
30 APRIL: COLOMBO Hanif Mushaf and Washeed Ibrahi were arrested for their unruly behaviour on a Sri Lankan Airlines flight from Bangkok. The Maldivians had been intoxicated and had tried to manhandle the cabin crew and passengers.
10 MAY: BOSTON An Air Wisconsin flight, en route from Portland to Philadelphia, diverted due to a disruptive who had tried to open the cockpit door and had to be restrained by passengers. It was later reported that the passenger was delusional, was on medication and had a history of seizures.
11 MAY: TENERIFE Two passengers, who had already been disruptive, claimed they had a bomb on board a Thomas Cook flight en route from Manchester to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia. They were arrested on arrival.
13 MAY: SANDAKAN A 27-year-old man was arrested when his AirAsia flight landed. He is reported to have been smoking in the toilets on the flight from Kuala Lumpur.
15 MAY: LONDON GATWICK An easyJet flight, en route from Newcastle to Alicante, diverted to Gatwick after a fight started in-flight. Ross Jameson, 23, and Jordan Summersgill 19, were both arrested and charged.

18 MAY: BELO HORIZONTE, BRAZIL A man was disembarked from a Trip Airline flight after he made sexist comments about the female pilot. Reports indicate that he said, “Someone should have told me the captain was a woman. I'm not flying with a female at the controls.” And he didn’t. He was led away by Police.
20 MAY: GLASGOW Gareth Varey, pop star Tulisa Contostavlos’ PA, allegedly became involved in a fight when he overheard another passenger make a derogatory comment about his boss in WH Smith at Glasgow Airport. Varey ended up being head-butted and Tulisa herself had to call for assistance. Varey boarded the flight but ended up having to disembark to answer police questions before the flight was allowed to depart.
25 MAY: MIAMI Ryan Snider, 24, was arrested when his flight from Jamaica arrived in Miami as he had allegedly became unruly after the flight landed.
26 MAY: DETROIT
Oscar Sussman allegedly tried to break into the toilets on a Delta Airlines flight en route from Tokyo to Detroit, whilst it was occupied by another passenger. The Purser asked Sussman to return to his seat, but Sussman is alleged to have tried to hit her. Sky marshals intervened and, although he punched them, they managed to restrain him.
26 MAY: SEATTLE A 3-year-old child was kicked off an Alaska Airlines flight for refusing to allow his parents to fasten his seatbelt for take-off.
28 MAY: TUSCON Ivan Bugakov, 24, was arrested after he was removed from a US Airways flight, prior to its departure, for becoming unruly and later telling the crew and other passengers that there was a bomb on board.

22 MAY: BANGOR
Lucie Zeeko Marigot, a 41-year-old woman from Cameroon, travelling on a US Airways flight from Paris to Charlotte, passed a note to the flight crew saying that she had a surgically implanted device inside her. The aircraft diverted to Bangor.
23 MAY: LOS ANGELES
A United Airlines passenger was arrested on his arrival from Newark when his flight landed due to his alleged unruly behaviour on board.
28 MARCH: NEW YORK Lateisha El, a 30-year-old TSA screener, allegedly threw a cup of coffee over Steven Trivett, an American Airlines pilot who had reprimanded El for swearing and using racially abusive language within earshot of others at a JFK checkpoint. El was arrested.
5 APRIL: CHANGNING, CHINA Chen Jun, Yao Zhen and Li Chao, the 3 people who hacked into China Eastern Airlines' ticketing website and defrauded the company of more than 2 million yuan (approx. US$320,000) by issuing thousands of tickets were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 8 ½ to 11 ½ years; they were also fined.
