Knight Wall Systems introduces overlapping Butler Manufacturing announces daylighting

system using Sunoptics technology Butler Manufacturing has introduced the Sun- Lite Strip daylighting system, a patented curb- less daylighting system developed for applica- tions to the Butler MR-24 standing seam metal roof system. The linear daylighting system and related components are engineered specifi cally for the MR-24 standing seam roof system. The 24-inch- wide system fi ts between the seams of the MR-24 panels and uses the seams for structural support. Any water from rain or melting snow runs off the roof via a single-sided front-end diverter. www.butlermfg.com

rainscreen assembly Knight Wall Systems has announced a brand-new design variation for its line of Dow-Knight CI-System continuous insula- tion rainscreen façades, which enables the overlap of panel cladding. Called Sloped-CI, the new Knight rainscreen

allows for large panels to be installed lap-style on a building’s façade, creating striking texture and shadow effects with an almost three-dimensional effect. Sloped-CI works with metal, composite and

many other panelized cladding options. The interior infrastructure of the system’s frame is identical to the conventional Dow-Knight CI-System, offering true continuous insulation with an architectural twist. www.knightwallsystems.com

Rigid Global Buildings now offering solar Rigid Global Buildings is now offering solar, photovoltaic laminate and crystalline modules. Crystalline modules are typically less expensive and generate more energy. They are mounted di- rectly to a standing seam metal roof with specially designed clips. PV laminate modules are applied directly to a standing seam metal roof panel using a peel-and-stick application, also providing a pen- etration-free roof system. The PV laminate solar modules are fl ush with the metal roof providing a seamless effect on the roof system. www.rigidbuilding.com
