PRO AUDIO Systems joined Meyer Sound in presenting the European debut of their Quick System Setup And Alignment seminar at the Alhambra theatre in Bradford. Around 40 delegates attended the interactive seminar, focused on practical solutions for quickly optimising audio systems, as well as key principles of acoustics and applicable physics.

Brian Lumb, Pro Audio Systems MD, said: “Events like this are what sets Meyer Sound apart in my opinion. A DOZEN of Poland’s pro- audio specialists and audio installation designers took part in the latest Dynacord Academy, featuring some hands-on learning with IRIS-Net. The most recent Dynacord Academy took place in Hucisko, organised by the company’s Polish partner, Tommex. The three-day course, conducted by Bosch Communications Systems’ Tobias Pirtsch, focused on the IRIS-Net software platform covering fundamentals of IRIS- Net software and hardware, basic network theory and practical applications. Participants were also introduced to other standard networks such as Ethernet, CobraNet, Dante and CAN-Bus. The event was arranged by

Kraszewski. “We decided to organise this academy because these are subjects about which we are constantly being asked – by dealers and end-users. Since each of the participants had an individually configured rack at their disposal, they were able to put into practice the theoretical information they had learnt. The commitment of all the participants was outstanding,” said Wojtowicz. www.dynacord.com

and simplifying system modifications. The design of the company’s SuperLoop SLS-2 range also addresses signal loss through construction metal and spillage, and can be used in adjacent rooms. Hollands, himself an

electronics engineer, explained UnivoxAudio’s philosophy: “Far too many induction loops don’t work because they’re underpowered. We’re about ‘power and performance’, which means a good experience for the hearing aid user, and

‘engineering simplicity’, making it easier for the architects, consultants, facilities managers, designers and installers who use our products.” www.univoxaudio.co.uk
