Exhibitors kept busy at NEC show


Many of more than 200 companies exhibiting at Infrarail 2012 were presenting new products or targeting the rail infrastructure market for the first time, while others were marking successes with their existing systems. Either way, exhibitors reported brisk stand business, good contacts made and overall satisfaction with both the number and quality of visitors. Here we review some of the exhibitor highlights from this year’s show. New and well received at this year’s Infrarail, The Yard


was a dedicated area for larger vehicles and plant for rail construction and maintenance. The feature was developed in collaboration with the Rail Plant Association.

The show enabled exhibitors to explain the capabilities of their products.


Sponsored by Tata Steel and featuring the company’s products, the On Track Display was the setting for rail-related equipment such as this railsaw from Husqvarna.


Once the doors were opened, stands were soon busy with visitors.
