Exhibitors’ achievements
More than 260 exhibitors, guests and show visitors attended an evening of food, wine and music at the second Infrarail Awards dinner on the second day of the show. The special guest was rail industry ambassador and pop entrepreneur Pete Waterman, who hosted the awards and entertained his audience by recounting a successful life built from humble beginnings, with trains and music never far from his mind. Live entertainment was provided by 2Tone, seamlessly delivering an eclectic set of soul, reggae, Motown, pop and swing music. Headline sponsor for the evening was Rail Technology Magazine, while a drinks reception ahead of the dinner was sponsored by The Quattro Group.
Awards were made in six categories, with winning exhibitors proudly displaying their trophies on their stands the following day. The winners were:
