On satur- day the Lackawanna & Wyoming Valley Chapter sponsored the Hopper Jet over the Reading & Northern from Port Clinton to North Reading to Mahanoy City. The trip operated with three ex-Lehigh Valley SW8 end-cab switchers (called “pups” by the LV), with ten hopper cars and a caboose between the locomotives and rider coaches. I chased
