Energy Foundation will tackle the topical issue of how to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint by Shifting Culture & Behaviour leading a discussion on the importance of behaviour change in delivering carbon footprint reductions, engaging with employees, stakeholders and communities and finishing with practical strategies for energy efficiency.
Impacting significantly upon the bottom line of all sizes of UK businesses, efficient waste management should form a critical element of every FM’s strategy. Steve Lee, Chief Executive, CIWM will help FMs get to grips with this topic in his session Energy from Waste – an Environmentally Beneficial Solution. Lee will take FMs through the current status and future plans for recovering valuable energy from UK waste, how to exploit Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and Feed-In Tariffs (FIT) as well as the implications from the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC EES), Renewables Obligations Certificate (ROC) and Feed-In Tariffs (FIT). He will also touch upon new and emerging technologies to help FMs stay ahead of the curve and help future- proof their businesses.
