day and night energy profiles for selected activity areas and highlight potential saving opportunities”. t-mac’s Energy Analysis software is designed to provide users with information on the efficiency of their building, energy costs, how much energy is being wasted as well as return on investment. Wardle High School’s bespoke software also provides live data and statistics on the school building’s performance. By accessing t-mac’s Energy Analysis Dashboard display, the school can immediately compare live and historic meter readings from all mains and sub- metering points in the building. “At The Energy Event this year visitors will be able to speak to the team to learn more about how our products can be applied to buildings in the public sector as well as taking a virtual tour of the full t-mac range. Using touch screen technology, t-mac’s interactive display will show visitors how we can help companies manage and control energy consumption, and achieve energy savings of up to 40 per cent” adds Gingell. This year’s Energy Event will sit alongside The Renewables Event – catering to onsite energy generation – and the long established RWM in partnership with CIWM, which will take place at the same time in neighbouring halls. The three shows will have a natural crossover and are expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors.

said: “There is growing interest among public sector and not-for-profit colleagues in the issues being catered for at The Energy Event and the innovative and cost effective solutions being showcased there. It is a great opportunity for not just seeing what is available as solutions but to also demonstrate the strides taken by the public and not-for-profit sectors in recent years. This is The Energy Event’s second year at the NEC Birmingham, and it has grown to be the most influential energy event in the UK. Last year, of the 3,943 visitors – up 89% on 2010 – 98% were instrumental in purchasing decisions made on behalf of their organisations. And 74% of visitors have energy management and procurement as their primary role, while 60% are looking specifically at the energy efficient products and solutions at the show. It is THE event in the industry’s calendar.”
