EIBTM Awards Exhibitors for Innovative Showcases


One of the most anticipated moments for exhibitors at EIBTM is always the presentation of the Stand Awards, recognising and rewarding companies who successfully create impactful and business effective environments with their space at EIBTM

1 Best Stand Award Design Overall: Hungarian Tourist Office Awarded for a light spacious stand with great use of compound curves and movement to catch the eye of visitors and bring them into the stand, Anikó Ferenczy, Director of the Hungarian Convention Bureau said “We are very proud that the Hungarian booth representing the importance of our thermal water treasures was awarded “Best Stand Overall Design” at last EIBTM.”


2 Best Shell Scheme Design: Eventresult Won by Eventresult for its unusual, persuasive design graphic. The stand was well executed with a good control of graphics iconography, lighting and stand furniture.


3 Best Stand for Doing Business: Barcelona Convention Bureau Awarded for positive first impressions, clear signage and graphics and a relaxed spacious environment and dedicated lounge space, which proved very conducive to business.


4 Best Stand Personnel: Hong Kong Tourism Board Dawn Page, Hong Kong Tourism Board commented: “The award not only recognises the great performance of our hospitable team, but also underlies HKTB’s long-standing commitment to offering top class services to visitors and upholding Hong Kong’s reputation as a welcoming destination.”


5 Best Stand Feature and Attraction: Oman Ministry of Tourism Oman were awarded Best Stand Feature and Attraction for a well crafted and discreet stand design embodying the spirit and soul of Oman.


6 Most Innovative Stand within the Technology and Event Services Village: Portugal Travel Team Awarded for their use of a large LED block which was used to project a colourful and vivid software story of iconic stills.

The awards which were launched in 2010, were updated to incorporate the most effective use of PR, a new category that really highlights the essential nature of a dedicated PR campaign to help drive more appointments and maximise interest pre-show, translating into real business opportunities onsite.

7 Most Effective Use of PR: London & Partners Presented to London and Partners for their integrated campaign combining media relations, press conference, social media and innovative use of promotions and brand messaging at the show.


8 Sustainable Stand Award: Conventa Presented to Conventa for their stand made from wooden recycled crates. Conventa received the award as part of EIBTM’s ’20 Sustainable Actions’, an initiative for Exhibitors that aims to recognise those organisations who take sustainable steps towards exhibiting at the show.
