GIBTM 2012 set to be a Major Infl uence on the Gulf Region’s Mice Industry
A number of new initiatives are set to take place at GIBTM 2012 which takes place next month in Abu Dhabi. The 6th edition of the event will, for the fi rst time, hold a free to attend interactive Arabic session solely dedicated to the improving knowledge and understanding of the value of this sector.
Presented by Ali Al Saloom, a recognised industry expert and Cultural Tourism Consultant at Embrace Arabia Consultancy, he will discuss how the biggest opportunity in the region is linking business tourism with Arabic traditions and culture.
With the continued expansion in the region of products and services dedicated to the business tourism, meetings and incentives industry GIBTM will once again help to build a bridge with those who are already working in the sector but who don’t recognise that they are meetings professionals. “This is one of our key challenges each year, as the growth of world-class infrastructure, new conference facilities and high quality venues increase in the region, GIBTM must continue to help everyone in the sector understand their own community, they can use this event to not only gain knowledge and information
