TRACK TECHNOLOGY
TT electronics has provided exceptional design support to Network Rail for trackside cabling applications, says Geraint Davies, traction sales manager.
T electronics’ vertically integrated roll- ing stock range of ABCIRH connectors has been chosen by Network Rail for use in all trackside cabling applications including sig- nals, points and level crossings.

The team at TT electronics AB Connectors has worked closely with Network Rail throughout the rigorous programme of testing, assessment and trials, to ensure that its ABCIRH connector range meets the exacting requirements of their NR/L42/SIG/30027 specification.
Network Rail is investing £2bn in its signalling infrastructure in the next five years. The use of ABCIRH connectors, designed and manufac- tured in-house, will enable the rail industry to implement the latest technology and increase efficiency in both the refit process and new pro- jects whilst maintaining reliability.
Our engineers have been working with the tech- nical team at Network Rail for nearly two years to ensure the products withstand the shock, vibration and environmental conditions found in trackside applications. We are delighted AB- CIRH meets NR/L42/SIG/30027 specification and we are already working with a number of suppliers on refit projects.
