They were a huge success and it was wonderful to show people the beautiful colouring that they have. Up close you can see the iridescent purple and green hues on their black feathers and the brilliant white speckles covering their body.


Run in the Wild - Chard 10k


Many of you may have seen Lloyd on Autumn Watch Unsprung in 2010 when he took the starlings to the studio and caused havoc! The bond between Lloyd and his birds is amazing and his wife Rose shares his passion for birds too. Where Lloyd and Rose have to work hard to gain the bond with their birds by spending time with them, we have to do the opposite and try to break our bond with our birds once they are self-sufficient and need to revert to being wild.


People at the launch were fascinated with them and Sir Terry was enchanted too!
