Thank you to our fundraisers!


Secret World Wildlife Rescue makes a real difference to British Wildlife but our work costs money! With no Government funding, we rely heavily on the support and generosity of people like you to fund our vital work. We are very grateful to ALL of our supporters who organise their own fundraising events…here are just a few listed below:


l Staff and customers at the Bristol House pub in Weston-Super-Mare who raised £250.


l £500 was also raised via the Terrier, Lurcher and Ferret group for events they had organised throughout 2011 in aid of Secret World.


l A big thank you to Stephen Carp who raised a fantastic £603 by running the Bath Half Marathon in 2011 for Secret World!


l Kings Alfreds students organised a series of events and collections for their annual rag week and donated £934.87 to Secret World and some even dressed up as a badger and owl!


l Tracy Silcock walked a marathon on Boxing day with her dogs despite suffering a knee injury on the way round but managed to raise £500. Thank you Tracy fantastic effort!

l Joanne Woodward raised £35 by holding a table top sale and selling teas and coffees.


l Kirsten and Georgia raised £43.80 by organising their very own fashion show - well done girls!


l Tony Hucker from the Rusty Spanners raised a whopping £400 and delighted fans by performing a one off show to raise funds for local charities… Secret World included! Tickets for the gig were sold out in 30 minutes after going on sale!


l Viking Vets organised a Christmas raffle and raised £132 which they kindly donated to Secret World.


l Thanks to the staff at


Turnberries Community Centre for raising £35 sending Christmas cards to each other.
